  • Utility

    PPL Optimized Battery Rewards

    $150 per kW a year, up to $400 a season

    PPL Electric customers with a home battery, Enphase only at present

    Paid for sharing stored power on summer afternoons and winter mornings, not for installing the battery. Other manufacturers are listed as coming soon, so Tesla owners can register interest.

  • Utility

    PPL Optimized EV Charging Rewards

    $60 a season, up to $120 a year

    PPL Electric customers with a Tesla, or a ChargePoint or Emporia Level 2 charger

    Managed charging: PPL throttles your charging at peak. Pennsylvania has no statewide solar or charger rebate, and the state grant that is open is not available to homeowners.

    Duquesne Light Smart Charging Rewards

    $20 a month, up to $80 a year

    Duquesne Light customers with a Tesla, ChargePoint, Wallbox or Emporia charger

    Events run weekday afternoons June to September. Places are limited and first come, first served, and it cannot be combined with their EV time-of-use rate. Runs to Dec 31, 2027.

    Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates (IRA HEAR)

    Up to $4,000 for a panel upgrade, within an up-to-$14,000 total

    Income-qualified households, administered state by state

    Availability varies by state: some programs are live, others are launching in 2026 or fully reserved. Check your state energy office.
