Real upfront cash, paid by cheque once the battery is interconnected. Requires a three-year demand-response commitment, roughly 40 events a year in summer afternoons. Tesla Powerwall is not on the approved list.

New Hampshire Electric Co-op members, on the off-peak rate
Co-op members only, about 12% of the state. Eversource, Unitil and Liberty customers have no equivalent. Paid after a post-installation inspection.
