    Xcel Energy Electrical Panel Upgrade Rebate

    Full project cost, up to $1,500

    Xcel Energy Minnesota residential customers upgrading to a higher amperage

    Stacks with the EV, heat pump and water heater rebates. Replacing a broken panel at the same amperage does not qualify.

    Xcel Energy EV Charger and Wiring Rebate

    Up to $500, or up to $1,200 if income-qualified

    Xcel Energy Minnesota customers enrolled in a qualifying EV charging program

    Enroll in the charging program first, then apply for the rebate. Licensed electrician required, first come first served.

    Minnesota Battery Storage Incentive (Xcel)

    $175 per kWh, $370 if income-qualified, up to $5,000

    Battery must be paired with solar, 50 kWh maximum. About 46% of the $3.48M budget remained at the last published update.

    Minnesota Battery Energy Storage Incentive

    $250 per kWh, up to $7,000

    Minnesota customers outside Xcel Energy territory pairing a battery with solar

    The counterpart to Xcel's program for everyone else in the state. First come, first served while funds last.

    Minnesota Power EV Rebates

    $500 for a Level 2 charger, plus $500 for a second service

    Minnesota Power residential customers on a time-based or interruptible rate

    The second-service rebate covers a separately metered EV supply, which usually means panel work. Off-peak power runs about 2.4 cents per kWh.

    Up to $4,000 for a panel upgrade, within an up-to-$14,000 total
