DCSEU Heavy-Up Panel Upgrade
DC properties of four units or fewer, replacing gas or oil heating with a heat pump
Not standalone: the panel upgrade only qualifies alongside a gas-to-heat-pump conversion. Needs a DC permit, inspection scorecard and before-and-after photos. FY2026 applications must be postmarked by September 30, 2026.

DC Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Tax Credit
DC income-tax filers installing EV charging at a home
Expires December 31, 2026, so the equipment has to be installed this calendar year. It is a tax credit, capped at your DC liability, with up to two years of carryforward.

DC Solar for All
DC homeowners at or below 80% of area median income
Design and installation are fully covered, worth roughly $500 a year off your bill. Automatic eligibility if you receive SNAP, TANF, LIHEAP or SSI. Renters are routed to community solar instead.
